Community Managers have the ability to have access to all rooms but in order to participate in a room managers must join the room.
Join to Participate
In order to add any type of content (images, videos, comments, likes and more) or Edit/Update a Room (that you don't own) you must Join the Room.
Join the Room will make you a participant in the room and allow you to truly participate in the Room goals and objectives.
Go to the Overview page.
The top left will warn you if you are currently in "read-only" status and you can click the "Join now to collaborate", it will confirm that you have "Joined".
Or on the top right you will see the Join this Room button. You need to "Join this room" to participate!
The green "Joined" will confirm you are able to add content to the room.
Join to Moderate / Edit a Room
As a Community Manager you have the ability to see all rooms that have been created in the community.
This also means you have the ability to gain access to these rooms to help the Room Owner in anyway necessary. You must JOIN THE ROOM in order to EDIT the room.
Follow the initial steps to "Join this Room" (see above for more details)
Then change your Participant status to Moderator in order to have editing capabilities.
Find your name in the participants list and select "Moderator", once there is a "M" next to your name you will have the ability to Change the Room Name, Add Participants, Update settings (private vs. public), Add Walls and much more!
